Thursday 5th November marks the start of an on-going program of study, research and design work by R.G.U. School of Architecture final year students on a Master Plan for Banchory and the surrounding areas.

Aberdeenshire Council and its community planning partners are seeking final comments on the Draft Marr Local Community Plan 2010 – 2014. This plan contains actions which the main service providers are planning over the next four years, with the aim of improving quality of life in Marr, alongside plans that communities have for improving things themselves, sometimes with help.

Banchory Museum would like to remind both locals and visitors that although the Tourist Information part of the library building is closed until Easter, the Museum is still open on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
